About Me

I have worked in a training capacity for as long as I can remember. I have always had a passion for helping others, and working in Learning and Development has filled that void for me. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone benefit from a training session they completed. It could be that “aha moment” when the user gets how something works, or maybe the user got a raise for taking the initiative, or better yet, they got a promotion. I really could not ask for a more rewarding career.

Introduction

I created this After Effects video using a template from Videohive to help showcase some of my skills in an interesting way. I created it about 10 years ago and it has had many updates over the years. I hope you enjoy this upbeat and fun video.

Salesforce Training

This training was designed to show the ADDIE process. The task is to design a 12-15 minute training and the video walks through each phase of ADDIE. After discussing the phases, you proceed to the end result, which is the Salesforce Training.

Leading with Candor and Transparency

This course was created for an interview. I really thought this course was fun and informative. I hope you wil find the same.

What's My Learning Style

I created this course based on D.I.S.C. I utilized various sources to develop the questions in this assessment. There are 21 questions. At the end of the 21 questions, you will be provided with information on your learning style.

This video was actually an old joke that I found and it reminded me of the old days of Paul Harvey stories. There is a good message in the joke and so I made a series every week with a different "moral of the story" that could be applied to business practices. It provded a good opener for team meetings.

Flexible Dial Plan

This video was created for training at Star2Star. I received the permission to use this video, as this product no longer exists.

This Escape Room game was created in several programs but run in Storyline. It is fun to play. Out of all the games I have built over the years, people had the most fun with this one. I have made the hint the answer, to make the game a little easier. Have fun and enjoy!

Very simple find the differences in the two pictures game. These are always fun to tie to safety reminders (locking computer, keeping desk clear, etc.).

Simple mind teaser game in which you are to select the color that the word is written in. So if the word blue was written in green, you would select green. The timer gives you less and less time each turn. See if you can beat the game.

This video was created to help some friends of mine adopt a child. There are over 11 different programs used to create this video so it is quite unique. On an extra positive note, John and Jordan are happy parents today.

This silly little Easter Bunny video was something I made for an Easter card.

This video was created for a insurance explainer video. I kep this short snippet for the animation.

This is my all time favorite video in my collection. It was so much fun to make. I have full commercial rights but I still have to give a shout out to these two creators. Cyzer is the AE creator for this (I just did the editing) and Pink Zebra is the band that sings the song. I love that song!! This is super upbeat and fun to watch!

I created these two sets of videos for a Realtor group out of Utah. These were instructional for their agents and were a big success in helping to get the message out for signage for open houses.
